Custom Tribute to the Hebmuller Volkswagen Roadster. Produced between 1949 thur 1951 the Hebmuller Roadster was at the time a classic. Costing three times the cost of a Beetle VW only about 670 cars were produced. A fire in the paint shop brought bank foreclosure to the company. This tribute is constructed in metal with the exception of the rear engine cover. A powerful 1776 cc engine replaces the original 25 hp engine that came in the originals. All the brakes & lines along with the wiring has been replaced. Rancho transmission rebuilt the transaxle. Adjustable rear suspension and Oldspeed dropped spindles. The engine is a German dual relief case. Engine was built by Brothers VW Machine Shop. Dual Kadron carbonators from the Kaddie Shack. 5 BRM wheels with 6.5 rears and custom steering wheel. Tach. 2-speed windshield wipers. VDO gauges. Italian front turn indicators. Original AM radio converted to 12 volts. 12 volt with alternator. Electronic ignition. Electric fuel pump. Kennedy Stage 1 clutch. Pedal Pusher pedals and heavy duty heim joint clutch cable. Tint windshield. Top in good condition with head liner. California legacy license plates. Gene Berg shifter and oil sump. Full flow oil system with complete doghouse cooling. Draws attention wherever it goes.
