Price Just reduced. Wife totaled car, must sell. It is a 2001 Beetle with a 1.8 turbo engine and 5 speed transmission. It has a Metal Nerd 2" lift with Jetta VR6 springs that give it about 4" of lift total. I had hub adapters machined for it to change the lug pattern from 5x100 to 5x114 and to add an 1 1/4" of width so I could run the 15x7 KMC aluminum wheels with 235x75r15 BFG tires. It has factory vw cross bars and a curt basket. It drives really well and isn't underpowered at all even with the larger tire. I'm asking $2100 for it currently. It does still have a couple of issues that I haven't dealt with yet. It needs a couple new tires as I ran the one that are on the back, they were on the front, too long without rotating them and they don't have much tread left. It also needs to have the cat replaced as it is bad and causing a check engine light that puts it in limp mode sometimes ( you can take it out of limp mode by turning the key off then back on). It gets a ton of looks and compliments. It does have a few scratches here and there but is pretty clean. It has nice leather interior in good shape. !!!! I just dropped the price another $400 as the alternator started whining some today and I don't have time to fix it!!!!
