Detail by owner
Up for sale is the famous Ed Willson 1968 (not a 1967, but has all the awful 1968 stuff removed) VW Volkswagen Beetle Bug that is on YOUTUBE. To date the 40 minute video of the restoration has had 950,000 views. I saw the video 2 years ago and tracked Ed Willson down in Boise and bought the car. I don't drive it very often and have decided to sell it on to the next owner.

The video tells the story - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNv0fI-qzP8. The car went through a full body off restoration and is amazing. One reason I bought it was I could see exactly what was done to it. You can too, just check out the video.

The car has gone through a full body off restoration - all mechanicals have been replaced or renewed. Full dynamat insulation. Looks brand new top and bottom....have a picnic on the bottom underneath or in the well wells.

Although it is a 1968, it is not restored to stock configuration - The awful 1968 "upgrades" have been retro fitted to 1967 -

Rag sunroof
no high backed seats
De-chromed
Calif custom bumpers
No cheap plastic dash
Engine rebuilt
Trans rebuilt
All mechanicals and electrical

Also

Front Disc Brakes
KYB Shocks
Empi Exhaust (not shown in picture)
500 miles from restoration - Odometer reads 34006 but I have no idea of the original miles - 134,000? Makes no difference as it has been remanufactured.

You either love all this or not...this is the way it is. Come take a look - make an offer. My estimate is that over 500 hours have been spent on the resto....plus thousands in parts, so it would cost $25,000 + to duplicate. Make me a reasonable offer.
