Volkswagen has begun to market the latest generation of VW Beetle Fender Edition in several countries in the world. But what is the fate of Indonesia?
Volkswagen CEO Andrew Nasuri Indonesia said that the VW Beetle is still stalled by the quality of fuel oil (BBM) so it can not be marketed to consumers in Indonesia.
"Beetle is still not suitable for the quality of petrol here (Indonesia) so we could not take it," said Andrew on the sidelines of the opening of the VW dealership in Puri Indah, West Jakarta, Friday (05/10/2013).
Andrew added that fuel quality VW Beetle in Europe there has been carrying the Euro 5, while in Indonesia is still carrying the fuel quality Euro 2. That's what makes a little old Beetle was launched in the country.
"His fate as other VW Tiguan or cars that have been sold in Indonesia. An example in Europe was launched in Indonesia has launched a long time," Andrew completed.
But Andrew remains committed if VW's new Beetle will be marketed in Indonesia. He said he will continue to fight for the fans of the VW Beetle in Indonesia is quite a lot.
