Few small things
Cracked screen
Wipers don't work. I believe the motor has given up. Rain X is all ive ever needed
Car runs great and was used as my daily driver up until i moved
Fires on the key
Drives straight and true
Its got the usual knocks and bumps to the fenders and hood but the body is really straight for the age of the car
Front and rear have never been hit but they really aren't the straightest. They look good for 50 years of motoring
The hood still locks locks
The door shut great. You have to open the window the seal is that good.
The conversion from deluxe headliner to standard makes the interior light and airy. Loads of metal on show. 6V headlights make driving at night somewhat scary. Its got Halogen bulbs which are as bright as you can get 6V to be.

It's slow as piss but it's a 1200 cc 40hp. It cruises at 65 no problems all day. The cab decklid ensures it stay cool even in 100+ heat.
Oil changes every 3000 miles or 3 months
New brake fluid 1 month ago with the safer dual master cylinder

The interior is spectacular its like a new car inside.
Ive looked at the prices of what a car of this year with this much done to it and my listed price is realistic. A great small window car and with the prices of 65/66 cars going up fast this early 64 is priced well. With people asking 6k plus for rusty, disassembled, no title quite frankly plies of crap, this car totally outshines them

This car is not a piece of rusty shit that so many people now call patina. It's a built car that had what ever it needed. Its NOT and I cant stress enough a rotten Bug that's just had a narrowed beam and some wheels slapped on in order to ask ridiculous money.

I'll say 90% rust free. In ideal world could do with some heater channel work. The body and pan match but the engine was a factory replacement I believe, although don't quote me on that one.
Car originally from Fort Collins in Colorado built in California and now located in Portland Oregon, It is registered in California and has tags until July. I can register in Oregon if prefered

Ive pictures of everything I have done.

Ill answer any genuine questions and will happily take pictures of anything you want. I hide nothing (unlike the guy who sold it to me originally)

Car is located Just outside Portland, Oregon
No sales to Africa for King Numbaby the 3rd and any of his bullshit relatives
Usual rules apply
NO PAYPAL, CASH in person sale only
No joyrides
No Swaps or trades ive no need for a 2003 Honda civic thanks

The point of this advert is to sell the car, i'm not Testing the water to see if i can get a grossly over the top amount of money because its advertised here. Please don't waste my time if you do not have this sort of money. Add up the cost of making a car like this with the parts and you will see that my price is more than fair. Ive been though all of the adverts on here to compare can i ask you do the same.
