1965 Vw Beetle for sale. It’s been in my family for 15 years with intention to restore, and I think it’s time to let her go.
Good:
-awesome patina
-1600sp original engine resealed a few years ago with less than 50 miles. Runs great. I haven’t seen a drop of oil on the ground.
-transmission shifts great. Rebuilt about 10 years ago, and has less than 100 miles
-aprons are pristine, never hit
-still original on a 6-volt system
-just recently had the brake system replaced
-interior is clean-ish. Needs a carpet kit.
-clean title on hand, Non-op registration so no back fees
-total miles unknown
Bad:
-Needs tires. I plan on getting new ones within the week.
-rust under battery tray and portion of the pan, passenger side. Rust shown in pictures. Not bad
-can use an alignment
-few light bulbs need replacement
-can use new rubbers
Asking $7000 or trade for a Squareback, 4x4 Toyota or something cool.
